Dispatch riders across all revenue local government offices in Osun State have appreciated the Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for the recent increments in their monthly salaries which took effect from March, 2025.
The group which assembled in the OIRS Chairman’s office in a joyous mood also thanked the acting Chairman, Alhaji Solanke Hamzat for his fatherly roles and fruitful efforts in the pursuit of good welfare for all staff, that preceded the recent increments.
On behalf of contract staff, the dispatch riders unit of the agency expressed their uncontained joy prays for successful tenure for the state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for yielding to their plights and demands, promising to do more as the increments will boost their work efficiently.
In response, the acting Chairman, Alhaji Solanke Hamzat rejoices with the concerned staff for the Governor’s fatherly intervention on the recent change in their wages as a result of their self sacrifices and work efficiency committed over the years to the agency.
Speaking on behalf of the state Governor, the OIRS Boss admonished the members of staff to put in more efforts, efficiency, sacrifices and drive to do more for the agency and the state as a whole, noted that “the result of hard work is more work”.
He then encouraged them to live up to their billings saying “to whom much is given, much is expected”, added that more commitment and productivity for the year 2025 can lead to the agency’s autonomy.
