The Osun State Water Regulatory Commission has suspended the operations of Royal Gem Multi Sector Ltd, a company engaged in government revenue collection on permits for borehole drilling. The suspension, effective immediately, will remain in place until further notice.
According to a public notice signed by Hon. Hamzat Solanke, Ag. Chairman of the Osun Internal Revenue Service (OIRS), the suspension is due to “encumbrances surrounding the modalities of operations” of the company.
The Osun Water Regulatory Commission will continue to regulate and supervise borehole drillers and water testing and certification within the state, unaffected by the suspension.
