The acting Chairman Osun Internal Revenue Service (OIRS), Alhaji Solanke Hamzat has enjoined staff of the agency to be more dedicated to their duties in 2025 as it remains the only avenue to improve on the various achievements made so far.
Alhaji Hamzat gave the admonition during an interdenominational prayers to usher in new year 2025.
During the programme held at the agency’s Conference Room, Abere,
the acting Chairman appreciated God’s protection over entire members of staff in the outgone year.
The tax expert also used the occasion to pray for God’s love, mercy, support and guidance over the staff.
The OIRS boss told the staff to do things that will make them to be remembered for good, be upright and shun away from absenteeism, laziness among other social vices.
Alhaji Hamzat in his words of encouragement to the staff, charged them to be dedicated to duties, make more positive impact to have a robust revenue income this year.
Prayers were offered both in a Christian and Islamic ways, for the State Government and OIRS for God’s protection, direction and provision throughout 2025.
In his closing remarks, Alhaji Hamzat challenged OIRS staff to put in extra efforts to help the government of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke achieve all his electioneering agenda made to the people of the state.
In attendance at the prayer meeting were: Board members, Prince Philip Fadehan, Prince Bola Oyebowale, all Directors and their assistants.
